My stay at Maktvb Costanera - Hostal Boutique started off on a really bad note. I had an awful experience when I arrived late at night and found the hostel closed and unstaffed. It was a stressful situation in an unfamiliar city, but I managed to check in at another location thanks to the reservation agent's understanding. While I appreciated her help, the inconsistency and lack of proper service are definitely significant downsides.
